VESSEL

Vessel is a design research project that explores how digital information might be preserved as part of human history. By translating selected digital information into tactile patterns on ceramic surfaces, the project turns everyday vessels into quiet carriers of personal and collective presence. The encoded patterns are machine readable and can be scanned and translated back into digital form, creating a bridge between material memory and computational retrieval. Through ceramic making and computational processes, Vessel asks how our generation might be understood centuries from now, and what it means to record our presence in a form that can endure.
